I love my postman today!!!!

My postman was my best friend this morning. He knocked on the door at 8am ish With a pizza box for me. It was from Crafts U love. I had ordered a few sheets of the new magnolia papers, they are just so so cute. Wish I had got more now.

Then about half hour later he was back. This was Fantastic, another pizza box.
I know it seems a if I have been spending too much but I blame Louise at Sidcup Scrapaholix for this.
I was scrapping with her on Sunday at the Hawley crop that is run by ChelleH1 on UKS if anyone is interested.
Anyway Louise pulls out this fabulous kit from Sarahs Card Ltd. Now I have bought off Sarahs cards before and am a big fan of one of there design team members Rachael Elliott, so I have admired these kits and what she does with them for some time.
Well when I had this kit in my hands and was able to touch feel and smell it in all its glory. I knew right at that moment I HAD TO HAVE ONE!
I then reluctantly passed it to Michelle to have a look and have to say it was like magic she had the same thoughts as me.
Unbeknown to us while we were in ore of the kits beauty and the fantastic idea booklet it comes with, Louise is on her phone checking out the web site and says' They only have 2 kits left'.
Well that was it 'ORDER THEM QUICK'!!!!!!!!
All the rest is history.

Loving that sunshine

Scrapaholix

Last night was my 1st visit of the month to scrapaholix.
I must admit that this month the papers in the kit are not something I would pick myself but as so often when this happens I am still pleased with the end result.

After reading a thread on UKS about how long it takes to finish a Layout, I was shocked that it only took some, 20mins.
I until sunday had tons of unfinished pages as I never seem to finish them in the couple of hours I have at Scrapaholix.
That was until last night. I did 2, yes 2 LO's last night. It was all down to the prep and the help of a sketch. So now I have found the secret I hope this will help me get more done.
Here is the second page. Sorry not a great picture, too much sun ( if that is possible).

Its Candy Time

There is some lovely blog candy up for grabs over at the crafty den. So why not pay Denise a visit at her blog and check out her great work.
Don't delay candy finishes on the 23rd AUGUST.

What a great Sunday

Sunday Morning

What fabulous weather we have had today. We got up this morning and walked through the woods to the park where the boys had heaps of fun.

Hawley Crop

This afternoon I went to the first meeting of a new crop in Hawley, Dartford. It ran from 2 - 6:30pm and had the use of a cricut and other bits and bobs. I had a fab time and managed to finish off a few layouts that have been sitting around for a while. I am a very happy bunny.
The great thing is there is more fun to be had tomorrow at Scrapaholix.

Eagle Heights

Yesterday we took the boys to 'Eagle Heights'. The weather was wonderful and we all had a great time.

I just had to

I just had to post a few of the happier memories of our holiday. Now that we are home warm and dry and all the washing is done ( still got the ironing to do, but that can wait). I can forget all the rain and remember the good times.

Oakley has also now got the full on chicken pox but at least I have now got that out of the way. They have both had it and apart from being very tired in the day, uncomfortable with the spots, restless and upset at night they have both coped very well with it. We have to be thankful for that. x

We are back, a little wet but back.

We arrived home from our summer holiday camping trip yesterday.
The journey home was a long one but at least the sun was out.
Unlike our week away. It rained every day and so hard on the Sunday that out tent was flooded and ended up floating on the rain water. If it wasn't for the little ones it would have been fine. However we do have little ones and as they need to be warm and dry we had to take drastic measures. So new tent shopping we went.
Lucky for us Millets had a half price tent sale and we got a whoppa for a fantastic price.
Back at the campsite we were able to see the areas least rain affected areas and picked a great one.
To cut a long story short, we washed and dried our stuff moved to our new tent (its huge) and got on with the rest of our holiday.
The highlight had to be our day at The New Forrest Show, it was a fantastic day with tons to see, do, buy and try. I hope to go again next year
.

We still enjoyed the break well you cant let the weather stop you.
On the Wednesday we went into Lymington and saw Princess Anne at the sailing club.

On Thursday we went to The New Forest Show. It was a long day with lots of walking ( the show is massive). The boys did so well walking for over 5 hours. Yes we had some pit stops but I still think they did well especially with Harley still getting over the pox and Oakley's first spot starting to show.
We had lunch in a dry spot under a tree whilst the rain poured down, the boys loved it. There was live music playing and it was a little festival like.
We had a ride on a horse and cart and walked through the most beautiful wild flower meadow. The boys made bird feeders and planted seeds to attract honey bees. I got a pair of Fitflops and the boys all got new Crocs. A great day was had by all. x
As you can see the sun did shine a little between the the downpours and it is these moments that I shall try to remember.
