More gifts

I had another dinner on Friday with Sharon a local Stampin up demo and the ladies I craft with when I go there.
I have already used this idea but as it went down well last time I thought I would use it again. This time I used after dinner mints.

I have also been very busy making gifts for the children at pre-school and school. With over 50 to make and then 12 teachers gifts as well, it has been all go.
The children have each got a gingerbread cookie with there name on to hang on the tree. The teachers gifts not quite finished, are going to be candles decorated with stamped Christmas images.
I hope they like them. x
Pre-school cookies all ready to go. x

Wednesday 2 December 2009

I have been busy.

On monday I went to a glimmer mist class at Pickleberry Papercrafts.
I have not played with glimmer mist before through fear of making a mess, they are not the sort of products I can have in the house with 2 little monsters.
Well I had a great time as always when there. The glimmer mist was fab as where the huge template and stamp that we used. I love the LO we made, what do you think?

Last night I went to Sharons stampin boutique and had a nose around her new log cabin. Well I loved it, crafting paradise.
Whilst there we had a rock and roll class and made a beautiful bag and card set. At last I made an easel card. I know I am probably the last crafter on earth to try this but I am a great procrastinator.
Our finished product was this Fantastic set.

Tonight I am out with some ladies from work for our 1st Christmas dinner, well Chinese really. We booked ages ago to make sure we could fit it in.
I made these little gifts for the girls, I hope they like them.
They call themselves the C.R.A.F.T group however they are not crafters. It has more to do with being forgetful.
How rude!!!!!!!

Well that it. Its all work work work for me now until half five on Sunday. Lets hope the rest of the week flies by. x x

A FANTASTIC Day!!!!

On sat I was a very lucky girl.
I went to Felsted in Essex to a totally free make and take hosted by the lovely Steph. If you have not come across it yet you must visit her blog Stamping and Sharing.

I was not sure what to expect of the day but after following Stephs blog for a while, I knew Steph would be a fab host and I would come away with some fantastic makes.
Well the day exceded all my expectitions.
Steph was an amazing genuine person who I have had the pleasure to meet. She had some lovely friends Kate, Amies and Caryn who helped to keep everything running smoothly.
We arrived at about 11:30 am and where met by the amazing Steph. We walked into the hall and saw this.

There where 30 places all set with 4 beautiful make and take projects.
There was also a huge amount of food for us all.
We all ate and then made these Stunning projects.

At 4 pm the event was sadly over. However this was not the end of a day made in heaven. Amazingly as if the day itself was not enough Steph also gave us all a goody bag to take home. It was like Christmas.

We also all received this sweet little choc gift from Linda. Thank you Linda x

I cant believe it Steph has said she plans to do it all again. FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!

My latest makes

I have not posted any of the things that I have created at Sharons classes for a while. So hear are the last three.

This is such a cute little desk calender. It has a little draw underneath that holds 4 handy cards. Beautiful. x

We did these on Friday. It was a hard slog but well worth it I now have a few ideas for my Christmas card. I really must get started on those.

This was last nights class using the rolla stamps. This would also make a great gift. Its a great folder style box and 4 great cards for all different occasions. x
Sadly there is only one more class before Christmas I hope it wont be long before we are back at it in the new year. x Thanks Shaz x

Pay it forward

I found this on whilst blog hopping today on Dawn Wicks blog and thought it was a really lovely idea so have decided to join in.

I think it sounds like a FABULOUS idea, see what you think .....

1.Everyone who leaves a comment on any of my blog posts this month will go into a draw. On the last day of the month I will randomly choose three names for whom I will make a little handmade ‘something’. It will be a surprise and it will arrive on your doorstep when you least expect it!

2. I will have 365 days to do it in.

So what's the catch? To get a handmade gift from me, you have to play too. This means YOU have to pledge to send a little handmade something to three readers of your blog. It doesn't have to be scrapbooky or cardy - just handmade.

3. You must have a blog. (obviously!)

4. BEFORE you comment here, you must post about your Pay It Forward on your blog to keep the fun going, and display the Pay It Forward button.

I will include anyone who follows the above rules. Remember - you got a full year so plenty of time to actually do the PIF ...

My first Scrapping Retreat.

I am exhausted.
I got back yesterday from a 3 day scrap booking retreat, it was fantastic.
I have never spent so much time scrapping( 3 days ) we started early and finished very late. Or should that be early morning.
The time just flew by and I wish it could have been longer. Still I got lots of new ideas and finished lots of new LO's.
14 single pages
1 double page
a candle and one unfinished 4 pages in one LO.

I am also off to scrapaholix tonight so not going to unpack yet.
when I do I shall take some pics of my LO's and post them here.
Enjoy the rest of the day x
