Greenwich Park

Today I took the boys to Greenwich park with Louise and her two girls. We met up with Shimelle and some other great people who's names escape me (i am not good with names).
Louise had an invite to meet up with them and take some pictures. She kindly asked if I would like to join her and I have to say I was a little apprehensive but am now glad I said yes.
Shimelle was lovely, great with the children and full of interesting stories. She had also baked cup cakes for everyone.
The weather was perfect and we all had a great time.
The boys have not stopped talking about throwing leaves at poor Shimelle, they really got her good.

  1. What memories that park has from when I lived down there. The kids loved standing on the meridian line ... not sure you can still do that.

  4. Hi Judith thanks for visiting my blog and your kind comments. Unfortunately I didn't win, maybe next time! I used to work at the Naval College in Greenwich and visited the park often. Looks like you had a great day. Pop by again. Zoe x

  6. I'm so glad I found your blog. I would never have guessed that you were apprehensive about coming along to Greenwich Park. I certainly was, especially coming on my own! It was so much fun though, wasn't it?

  7. wow, how lucky were you, meeting Shimelle.
Glad to hear the day went well.

Looks like you had fun at AP, unfortunately i couldn't go this time, saving up for Ireland next month, so shouldn't moan really, but certainly felt like my right arm had been chopped off.

Hope your well and thank you so much for my blog award - have only just realised.

    Take care
